Lance Pohling has been in the undersea cable industry his entire career, serving in a variety of technical and commercial positions. From a technical perspective, he has been involved in the design, manufacture and implementation of systems both as a supplier and purchaser. On the commercial side, he has held positions responsible for pricing and negotiation of commercial terms and conditions. Mr. Pohling has experience with all phases of undersea cable projects. Over the past 10 years he has been involved in projects the Middle East, Asia and the Caribbean, helping to bring private undersea cables for the first time to countries such Pakistan, St. Maarten, Belize, Nicaragua, and Turks & Caicos. His most recent projects include GBI, SEACOM, TW-1 SMPR-1, and ARCOS-1. Mr. Pohling holds a BSEE from California Polytechnic Institute, a MSEE from Princeton University, and a MBA from Purdue University.
